Our ear threaders are meant to pull half way through the earlobe hole to keep the weight of the threader balanced, as shown in the photo. Most piercing holes are small enough that they hold the chain tight naturally, however, if you feel it is loose, then you can loop your ear threader through the ear piercing hole a second time to keep the threader securely in the ear.
